Heart Choco Pops

If cakes and chocolates seem too mainstream to you, then bookmark this recipe. Heart Choco Pops is a bite-sized dessert recipe that you can make in less than 1 hour. Heart Choco Pops not only taste delicious but also look delightful. You just need a cake-premix of your choice to make the cake first. The flavour can be vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch etc. Once a cake is prepared, it is crumbled and then shaped into balls. These balls are then dipped in white or dark chocolate and finally garnished with heart-shaped sprinkles to give the Heart Choco Pops a Valentine’s Day look. If you are not able to find heart-shaped sprinkles, you can use nomrla sprinkles or choco chips. Not just Valentine’s Day, you can prepare these Heart Choco Pops for birthdays, parties, anniversaries or any other special occasion. Ingredients of Heart Choco Pops

  • 1 kilograms cake flour
  • 500 ml water
  • 300 ml whipped cream
  • 250 gm white chocolate
  • 50 ml refined oil
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 250 gm dark chocolate
  • 100 gm colorful sprinkles

Step 1

Heat the oven and grease a mouldFirst heat the oven at 325°F, and grease round-shaped mould with butter paper.

Step 2

Prepare a batter/mixtureTake the cake mixture in a bowl and add water, oil and mix them all together. Pour the mixture into the mould.

Step 3

Bake the cakeNow bake for nearly 30 – 35 minutes and check by inserting a toothpick. If no liquid sticks out, then the cake is ready. Then remove the pan from the oven and keep the cake aside for 10 minutes. Let it cool down completely.

Step 4

Mix the chocolates togetherMeanwhile, take melted white chocolate, dark chocolate and whipped cream. Mix them all together in a bowl. Mix for 5-6 minutes or till it becomes light and fluffy.

Step 5

Crumble the cakeUsing a knife remove the entire outer layer of the cake and crumble it into a large bowl. Try to get these crumbs to be as fine as possible.

Step 6

Make cake popsNow roll the cake crumbs into balls and put wooden sticks in each, like a lollipop. Dip one pop in melted white chocolate and one pop in dark chocolate and cover each with heart-shaped sprinkles.

Step 7

Ready to be servedOnce done, your Heart Choco Pops are ready to be served.
