Ingredients of Peri Peri Shrimps
- 250 gm shrimps
- 1 teaspoon powdered red chilli
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon spice black pepper
- 2 handfuls coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 cup hung curd
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- salt as required
- 1 1/2 tablespoon juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 3 teaspoon butter
Step 1
Devein the shrimpsTo make this simple dish, wash and clean the shrimps. Using a knife carefully remove the veins, wash and pat dry using a paper towel.
Step 2
Marinate the shrimpsTake a large bowl and add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, spices, chopped coriander leaves and hung curd, whisk the mixture nicely. Next, add in the shrimps and nicely marinate and refrigerate for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Heat a skilletHeat a skillet and add butter to it and add 2 lemon slices and place the marinated shrimps in a skewer. Next, place the shrimps skewers and cook at medium flame by flipping the sides.
Step 4
Garnish with coriander leavesOnce the shrimps are cooked perfectly and are slightly charred. Transfer to a plate and serve hot with a dip or chutney. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy.
